Book Review: Guardian for Hire by Christine Bell

Psychologist Sarabeth Lucking’s life is turned upside down when the upscale couples’ retreat she works for winds up embroiled in the biggest scandal of the year. With her reputation in tatters, she can’t imagine things getting worse, until her former co-workers are murdered, one by one. A bad-ass, ex-Army Ranger might be able to keep her safe, but something tells her she’s getting more than she bargained for...

Gavin McClintock grew up on the streets of Edinburgh, and protecting prissy Dr. Stick-Up-Her-Rear isn’t high on his list of things to do. Still, a promise is a promise, and he’ll need a clear head if he’s going to keep her off the growing list of victims. He didn’t count on the fire in her, or how distracted he’d be by her. As the flames grow hotter, he starts to wonder if she’s the one who needs protecting.

Will Sarabeth and Gavin outrun a killer and give into the passion burning between them?

For Honest Review

SWOON! SWOON! SWOON WORTHY!

Gavin MCClintock was definitely not prepared for Sarabeth Lucking. These two had the perfect chemistry. I was slightly concerned that I wasn't going to like this book. I honestly don't read a whole lot of romance novels. Harris and Madsen on the two I read the most for romance novels so I was extremely surprised that I loved Christine Bell's "Guardian for Hire." This is definitely a hot and sexy read.

I absolutely love how feisty and sassy Sarabeth is. In the first few chapters she was slightly irritating just because she seemed like she was going to be one of those really whiny characters but she actually turned out to be fantastic. There were times that she would open up and the reader could see her vulnerable side.

Gavin. Goodness Gracious Gavin! Gavin was there to protect Sarabeth and she didn't give in to any of her stubbornness once so ever. Gavin wants to keep Sarabeth safe more than anything, that is what he was hired to do. When Sarabeth is extremely stubborn, he didn't except no as an answer instead he made her come with him anyway.

Bell did an amazing job with "Guardian for Hire." I haven't to say that I really loved this book and I am thinking about picking up "Wife for Hire." The plot and the characters in this book are great. This is so fast paced I loved it. I honestly think that this is a great read especially if you want something right before bed or a lovely beach read. Check out "Guardian for Hire" because it is amazing. Any reader would not be disappointed.
